Grace United Methodist Church of Oil City, PA is a church that is very involved in mission work around the world. We support the mission work of the United Methodist Church through our annual missions budget. We also support UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) which provides help to people who have been involved in natural disasters.
We also send mission teams, consisting of members of our local church, to places like Honduras, and Haiti to help the local people with projects that enhance their daily lives. These teams are usually deployed for a week at a time. The cost of the trips are covered by the team members themselves and mission projects held at the church throughout the year. Grace church also provides assistance to our local community through our Helping Hands program and other projects as the need arises.
