Sunday, May 17 I mentioned in my sermon several resources that can help you develop your faith. Here is that list. The first three books are available at Christianbooks.com. Tennett’s book can be found at Seedbed.com. I hope you enjoy these books and find them helpful.
John Stott, Basic Christianity a summary of the atonement and salvation by grace through faith.
C. S. Lewis, Mere Christianity a summary of a broader range of Christian teaching, including creation, the existence of God, etc.
Natasha Crain, Talking with Your Kids About God, 30 very brief chapters dealing with important questions like: How can we know God exists, or what he is like? Do all religions worship the same God? What difference does believing in God make? The book was written for parents to help their kids develop a personal faith, but it is very helpful to all Christians because it addresses such important questions in an understandable way.
Timothy Tennett, 30 Questions: A Short Catechism of the Christian Faith Addresses crucial teachings of faith in brief and understandable chapters. ~ Pastor Byron
